The shell and cuff are made of Grilamid, an ultralight composite similar to Kevlar, and the latter is reenforced with carbon fiber for extra stiffness when you really lean into the boot. Top buckle walk mode switch makes it easy to flip from up to down and the Vibram GripWalk rockered soles will give you traction on the slipperiest of ridgelines.
